The Moroccan authorities have announced the suspension of flights to and from France and Spain from Tuesday, March 30, 2021.
The decision to suspend France and Spain flights is part of the preventive measures taken by the government to curb the spread of coronavirus pandemics.
"As part of the preventive measures taken by Morocco against the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, passenger flights to and from France and Spain will be suspended from Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 23:59HRS (11:59 p.m.), and this until further notice”, the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in a statement. “Special passenger flights from these two destinations will be subject to reinforced controls, in accordance with the health protocol defined by the competent Moroccan authorities."
After the announcement of the suspension, France and Spain have now joined a list of 40 countries to which Morocco has suspended its flights.
The suspension of flights to 40 countries which include Germany, Turkey, Italy, and the UK by Moroccan authorities will last until at least April 10, 2021.
