Delta Airlines announced on Wednesday that it will commence selling the middle seats starting May 1st, 2021.
The national carrier started blocking the middle seats in April 2020 to give passengers confidence as well as promoting social distancing amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Leaving the middle seats empty with a limited number of passengers onboard has no doubt led to increase in fares, and reselling them will definitely reduce the hiked fares.
The airlines said Wednesday that it would begin to sell middle seats on flights again starting May 1, after one year it decided to leave them empty.
