TRAVELS UPDATE: NIGERIA - UAE

In line with the government directive which has led to the suspension of flights from Nigeria to the UAE, there are indications that flights from Nigeria to the UAE may not be available for a long time. Emirates airline has announced.

The Middle East giant was preparing to resume passengers' flight on the 20th of March when both countries' governments decided to suspend flight services between the two countries indefinitely.

However, passengers who are affected by the situation have been informed that they can fly from neighboring countries.

According to the report, there were neither bans or restrictions on Nigeria passport holders by the UAE government nor bans or restrictions on the UAE passport holders by the Nigerian government.

Nigerian passport holders are welcomed in the UAE but must have left Nigeria for a minimum of 14 days, and must provide a Negative PCR test result.

The affected passengers who can afford to fly from a neighboring country are free to do so after 14 days of exiting the country.
