Delta Air Lines And Kenya Airways Enter Codesharing Agreement

Delta Air Lines and Kenya Airways have agreed to enter into a codesharing deal. The codesharing agreement between the two airlines will enable them to extend their network to about 40 destinations across Africa, The U.S., and Canada.



With this new development, passengers on Delta Air Line on the New York's JFK - Ghana's Accra route will now be able to join with Delta-marketed codeshare flights to Monrovia, Liberia, and Freetown, Sierra Leone flights, provided by Kenya Airways. Likewise, Delta marketed codeshare flights will be available on Kenya Airways' services from Nairobi to Cape Town in South Africa. Arare Zimbabwe, and Kigali Rwanda.

However, Kenya Airways has placed its code on Delta Airline's services to Indianapolis, and Washington in the U.S.

According to Alian Bellemare, Delta's President International, "Delta is the leading U.S. airline in Africa, Strengthening our partnership with Kenya Airways will respond to customers' demand for more travel choice between the continent and North America."
