Reports from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan have confirmed the theft of about 1,000 visa stickers from the Italian Embassy in Islamabad.
Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, the Spokesperson, who disclosed it in a statement says the incident had already been reported to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the foreign diplomatic mission.
According to Chaudhri“the information was immediately shared with the concerned authorities to take appropriate action in this regard.”
The reports have it that about 750 sticker visas with serial numbers from ITA041913251 to ITA041914000, and the 250 visa stickers have the numbers from ITA041915751 to ITA041916000. were stolen from the locker room of the Italian embassy in the month of June.
The concerned departments have been asked to keep track of the visas at every entry and exit point. And to report any suspected persons to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the security agents.
