German national carrier, Lufthansa Airline on Tuesday began vaccinating its staff in Germany. The Airline says not less than 2,000 vaccine doses will be made available and will be administered by the company's medical group in Munich, Frankfurt, and Hamburg as the first set of staff get vaccinated on Tuesday.
The Chief Human Resources Officer, Lufthansa Group, Dr. Michael Niggemann said: "Since the beginning of the pandemic, our employees have also been making an important contribution to the society. With our flight and cargo services, we give travelers the security of being able to perform socially or economically important tasks, as we are pleased to now be able to offer our employees a vaccination.
The airline recommends that all its workers take the advantage of it and get vaccinated.
The vaccination process is part of the measure put in place by the Lufthansa Group to ensure the safety of management, staff, customers, and the community.
