EXPO 2020: UAE LIFTS TRAVEL BAN...

The United Arab Emirates, UAE is fully set to welcoming participants and Exhibitors to Expo 2020 that would be coming up in Abu Dhabi later in the year.


A statement released by the United Emirates Aviation Authority says that Participants and Exhibitors will be allowed to enter the UAE from 16 countries where flights are suspended, provided that such participants and exhibitors are fully Vaccinated.

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) says that the international participants, both exhibitors, and employees of Expo Dubai sponsored by Event Organizers would be welcomed in UAE from other countries.


According to the statement released by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority on July 22, flights and passengers are banned from certain countries. The countries are India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Indonesia. Other countries include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Zambia.

The theme for world expo 2021 is "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future." And tickets for the mega event are now available on the Expo website and from more than 2,500 approved vendors.

This is the first time that the international exhibition wil be organized in the Middle East. Recall that the event was supposed to hold last year but was postponed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

Visitors have been assured of an amazing world of innovation and entertainment during the event which will be coming up from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, and is expected to attract more than 25 million visitors from across the world.

As part of the preventive measures put in place in order to curb the spread of coronavirus during the event, authority in the UAE has released the list of approved vaccines for travelers from India. They are, Sinopharm, Sputnik V, AstraZeneca (Covishield), and Pfizer-Biontech.
