Unvaccinated Travelers Facing More Restrictions Across Europe

Unvaccinated travelers are beginning to face difficult times in Europe as the European Union leaders continue to set strict measures against travelers who are not fully vaccinated.

According to the report, the EU countries' strict measures are imposed on travelers from countries that are placed on the Red and Yellow lists. Henceforth, travelers from countries on the Red and Yellow lists would no longer be allowed to enter most parts of Europe without showing a certificate of the COVID-19 passport that proves vaccinated or recovered from the virus. The Covid-19 passport is introduced to provide free access to the countries and to protect public health.

Most of the European countries now require double tests from travelers coming in from countries that are placed on the Red and Yellow lists. The implication of this is that unvaccinated and unrecovered travelers must take a test before entry and another test within 3 to 5 days upon arriving in the country or may even be denied access to the country as the case may be.

Unvaccinated and Unrecovered Travelers arriving from Red countries must quarantine for 10 days upon arriving at their destinations.
