Ottawa University in Canada has announced several scholarship programmes for Nigerian and other African students.
According to the University, "only Nigerian and other African countries will benefit from the newly introduced scholarship programme. The scholarship programme targets Engineering, Science, and other Social Science students."
The scholarship will grant new students the opportunity to cover part of their 4-year tuition fees.
The University says that: "It is proud of the diversity of its international student body. The new scholarship is made available to international students who are from Africa and admitted in the 'fall 2022 term' or later an admission average of 80 per cent or above, who are studying in English, and enrolled in one of the specified undergraduate programmes in the school of Engineering, Science, And Social Sciences,"
The eligible students will automatically receive the scholarship values upon enrollment and will be applied directly to their tuition fees. The University stated.
