Qatar Airways has announced seven new destinations, 11 route resumptions, and frequency increases in 35 routes, including Juba, Kinshasa, and Toulouse.
The airline will add over 655 weekly flights to its summer 2023 schedule compared to 2022, including seven additional global destinations, according to Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways Group. These routes connect Chittagong in Bangladesh, Juba in South Sudan, Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Lyon and Toulouse in France, Medan in Indonesia, and Trabzon in Turkey (Turkey). On July 3 and January 15, 2024, respectively, Qatar Airlines will begin operating flights to Lyon and Medan.
“We are
excited to offer more ways of bringing the world together, increasing
connectivity, and bridging gaps within the travel industry. As we expand our
fleet, network, partnerships, and international presence, we look forward to
working together to deliver sustainable growth and a compelling future for the
industry,” he stated.
Except for one destination,
Qatar Airlines has resumed most of its pre-pandemic map route. Doha-Beijing
