In a significant step towards global expansion, Uganda Airlines has announced a new four-time weekly direct service between Entebbe International Airport (EBB) and London Gatwick Airport (LGW) which will commence on the 18th of May 2025.
This four-times-a-week operation, utilising their state-of-the-art Airbus A330-800neo, marks the end of the airline's initial establishment phase and signals its ambition for long-term growth in the international market.
According to CEO Ms Jenifer Bamuturaki, this route will provide unparalleled convenience for travellers, cater to the growing demand for connectivity between Uganda and the UK, and enhance access to Uganda Airlines' extensive African network.
Tickets for the Entebbe-London Gatwick route are now available for booking through the Uganda Airlines website, mobile app, booking offices, and authorised travel agents.
This development aligns with Uganda Airlines' broader strategy to expand its route network and enhance its international presence.
