Middle East giant, Emirates Airline has disclosed its plans to operate up to 70 percent of its normal capacity in the winter.
Emirates has mainly been operating trips with its 151 Boeing 777s though with traveler requests still at very low levels, internationally those planes generally carried cargo.
The airline expects to operate around 30 to 40 Airbus A380s over the summer, more than what it is currently operating, Kazim said.
The rebuilding of capacity mainly depends on countries easing coronavirus limitations and whether they permit international travel. Dubai's Emirates does not have a domestic market that can cushion against international border terminations.
The carrier which is also hoping to commence Nigeria flight operations any moment from now believes that the restoration of capacity largely depends on countries easing coronavirus restrictions and whether they welcome international travel.
