Qatar has announced the re-opening of its
borders to fully vaccinated travelers only.
Authority in Qatar on Friday announced the reopening of its border for international travels but not without some new measures like other countries. The new measures are put in place to make entering Qatar as easy as possible.
As part of the measures to protect people
from coronavirus infection, the government of Qatar has announced that only fully vaccinated passengers would be welcomed in the country. The new measures will allow people who are fully vaccinated to visit Qatar without the need for
quarantine.
Other measures will also make it easier for citizens and residents of Qatar to travel in and out of the country, enabling fully vaccinated people to bypass the quarantine requirement when returning to the country.
Visitors planning to enter the country will be required to undertake a PCR test up to 72 hours prior to their departure.
According to a statement from the local tourism body, travelers are advised to keep checking the entry requirements of the country they are traveling from and will return to from Qatar, before booking a flight and should understand that those policies can change anytime.
International visitors, citizens, and residents must register and upload required documentation such as a vaccination certificate, valid PCR test up to 72 hours prior to travel, and personal details through the Ehteraz website before entering Qatar.
